It is recommended that HeraDerm Hydrogel Wound Dressing should be changed Daily during the first 3 days after caesarean, and every 3 days thereafter. Changing of the dressing immediately is recommended when any of the following conditions occur:

  1. The hydrogel is swollen due to absorption of exudate, and the dressing turns white or breaks into shattered bits.
  2. The edge of the PU film curls up.

  1. Body hair should be removed as much as possible to ensure better adherence to the skin.
  2. Clean and dry the area. Do not use lotion.
  3. If you have sensitive skin or should you experience any allergy reaction whilst applying the dressing, stop immediately. If symptom persists, consult your physician.

It takes at least 6 months to a year for a scar to stabilize and mature, or even longer for hypertrophic scar and keloid to form. Therefore, it is recommended that HERADERM Scar Care treatment be continuously applied for minimum 6 months.
The scar tissue stabilizes once it is flattened and a white thin mark will appear. If the redness still appears on the scar, continue the HERADERM Scar Care Treatment until the scar tissue stabilizes.

Please refer to below application suggestion.
